"Express communications solution" for new DPD headquarters in Buchs

When DPD looked for state-of-the-art communications cabling system for its new headquarters which should be accompanied by a long-term system warranty in 2009, the IT Director of DPD found a solution from Datwyler. Today the company uses a high-performance Class E solution which comprises type CU 7702 data cables and type MS RJ45 modules as well as Datwyler fibre optic backbone cables. This network not only provides DPD with high-speed data and voice transmission but also incorporates parcel sorting and distribution logistics, video cameras, WLAN-compatible mobile scanners as well as Power over Ethernet and KNX building automation.
