The Design of Telecommunication Infrastructure for Data Centers
An introduction by Senjaya Halim
Remote users rely on the connectivity to IT appliances and cloud infrastructure hosted in data centers. The telecommunication aspect is an integrated part of data center design, besides power, cooling and architectural aspects.
In this webinar, which will be held on Wednesday, June 07, 11:00 AM (Singapore Time), we will discuss the applicable data center standards for telecommunication that we can use as references. EIA/TIA-942A has been widely used for few years. We also see some changes in the EIA/TIA-942B (draft), which will be coming soon. BICSI-002 (2014) also provides some guidelines for telecommunication.
This introductory session will provide an insight for those who are planning to build an on-premise or colocation data center, as well as for enterprises that plan to relocate their IT appliances to colocation data centres.
